What the heck .. I might as well post this again this year for the 3rd year in a row. My disclaimer:

1- I do not think the injury hampers Brady's performance.

2- I do not think Brady's injury hurts the team.

3- I do not think Brady's injury cost us the Super Bowl.

There is no doubt in my mind Brady has played for a while now with a partially torn labrum. Witness the incredible strength he has built up in his throwing shoulder. Building the muscles around the should has kept the injury in check...he can play the rest of his career without the surgery.

Will Tom play in pain the rest of his career?

or

Will Tom take some time off for surgery at some point?

I think he gives it one more year ... that's my guess.

Based on what, besides the weekly injury report?

He has already had it scoped several times and probably will
have it done again this offseason. Of course the only way to really fix it is major shoulder surgery which I guess Tom does not want.
Belichick lists him on the report every week because it is a chronic injury that causes Brady pain all the time.
As per my sources ... I may be crazy but I'm not stupid to write that here.
