Some comments on the comments:
1. Yes Florio is a hater and a Steeler toady. -I found the site when he was nothing but a fan with a web site, a few agent friends, and some ambition. Long before he went big time. For years he has painted the Pats in negative lights even on positive stories. I stopped going there when I found he consistently edited ANY comments that criticized him personally for what he wrote.
2. The fact his that he has ALWAYS been suspicious of Roger Goodell, and that trumps his anti-Patriot tendencies. So in reality he isn't supporting the Pats directly, he is going after Goodell, and he's going at him HARD!
3. Florio is smart - and the evidence in this case is easy. Science concluded that nothing happened in the first place. Even the bought and paid for science of Exponent in the end concluded they couldn't prove ANYTHING happened. Then when the emails came out, the NFL's culpability became clear. This is easy pickings for some one with Florio's background.
4. The person in the media who REALLY seems like he's carrying the Pats flag has been Bruce Allen. The link to his recent article (a must read) on Tomase shed new light on just what a bag job he did on the Pats in 2007. He puts in question the entire, " cameraplacement gate" punishment. HIS work should be supported and recognized.
5. Even while the evidence is piling up and becoming even more clear, it is going to take some time before the true narrative comes out. Watching CSN last night the panel was made up of some chick, Curran, and some ex local NFL player. Every one hammered Goodell like you expected, but at the end the chick says, "Well it's pretty clear that BOTH sides on this end up looking bad".,,,,, and the other 2 nod in agreement.,
HOW does Brady look bad when he didn't do anything more than not go nuts when the story first broke, and "destroying" his cell phone [Which everyone has acknowledged contained no useful info to the case). Yet the media STILL views this as "both side look bad".
4. Bottom line, we have more work to do.
