Did we get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? The story was only one click away. Also, maybe BrianPat was pressed for time. Thanks for the heads up, but for next time it would be helpful if you would give us a clue what the story is about in your post, or better yet in your thread title.
For other readers, it's about whether the Pats free agency strategy is different this year than it has been in the past.
No, we didn't get up on the wrong side of bed this morning! I was not coming from a cranky place, I was just trying to give some helpful advice to a new poster and at the same time make this a better board.Did we get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? “In my mind, it’s not a philosophical thing to do or not do,” Belichick said Saturday, in a telephone interview before the Stallworth deal was done. “Just because something wasn’t done in another year doesn’t mean that if the opportunity had been there it wouldn’t have been done. In some years, we didn’t have much cap space. There was no money to spend. You work within the constraints you have. To me, we’re taking the same approach to the season that we have every season: do what you think is best.”
Man, you have to be careful the way you word things around here!
Thank you for the article .
I loved the following quote from Belichick
“In my mind, it’s not a philosophical thing to do or not do,” Belichick said Saturday, in a telephone interview before the Stallworth deal was done. “Just because something wasn’t done in another year doesn’t mean that if the opportunity had been there it wouldn’t have been done. To me, we’re taking the same approach to the season that we have every season: do what you think is best.”
I wish the mediots*coughFelgerWEEIBorgescough* will understand this, the Pats deal with each year according to the circumstances happening, they do have a philosophy, and that's not to be rigid with their philosophy.
Now you hurt my feelings... can you please reword that?just figuring that out?
