Player stats
Brady had a 68.9% completion% (T-1st with Roethlisberger)
Brady had a 100.7 QB Rating (2nd behind Flacco)
Edelman had 93.7 receiving yards per game (2nd behind Antonio Brown)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NE offense and defense was incredibly efficient on 3rd down. Also led the postseason in PPG and PPG allowed.

Edelman was huge all postseason long. Only trailed Brown in terms of yards per game but Brown had a smaller sample size (only 1 game.) Edelman came up with huge catches in key moments.

Brady was Brady. Nothing else needs to be said.

This was probably Brady's finest super bowl run.

Masterful in all games and showed incredible mental toughness after throwing a few terrible picks.

I think playoff stats are too small of a sample size unless you're comparing the two Superbowl teams who all at least played 3 games. What is impressive is the 3rd down offense and defense. Kudo's to the Patriots!

Agree. He was more in control and filled with passion than in 2007 or 2011. This may sound crazy but I think Brady may be hitting his prime!

Brady 2007 is the best Brady I've seen. All least skill wise.

That being said, he is far wiser and calmed. So yea, he might be better than ever (crazy to think)

Interesting that in all 3 games, negative plays occurred right before half.
