bored at work and thus checking some youtube & getting pumped for the 08 season....

3) The Tyree catch:

Watch it for a practical reason: we're going to see this catch replayed about 150x next season. Just watch it and gain a tolerance to it.

2) Best of Randy Moss 2007:

Just a reminder of what a privilege it is to watch this guy paired with Brady. I think a lot of us have blocked out the 07 season a little bit b/c of the ending, but these two guys put on an epic show from Week 1 all the way through the end.

1) The Patriots "Superstar" montage with Lupe Fiasco from Week 17:

This one is painful for me to watch. It's a sick song and the montage slick production, I can remember loving it when I saw it on Week 17 and it gave me chills. Normally opening montages reek of phony corniness, but this one really did sum up how dramatic and awesome it was to watch the Pats last season. It stings a little bit to watch it, but its a reminder that for 18 weeks this team provided just about as great sports entertainment as you could ask.

Feel free to add any other vids/links worth checking out.

Watched it this morning at the gym for the first time since the superbowl, The BSC always is tuned into ESPN so kinda forced to, definitely brought back some harsh feelings

Yup. We can't escape that highlight. Hopefully sometime around the start of next February we'll look back on it and it'll be a little less painful.

I know what you're driving at here, but I will never get used to it and would rather avoid it, especially since I saw it unfold in person. What's far worse than the catch itself is seeing Manning escape the pass rush and just heave the ball up for grabs. The whole scenario is so ungodly freakish, it defies football logic no matter how many times you watch it. It's like asking someone to repeatedly watch video of their dog getting run over by a semi until they're desensitized. Ain't gonna happen.

Another horrible image is that slow-motion closeup of Quarterhick Jr. holding the Lombardi and yeling "Wooooo!" Turns my stomach every time.

Couldn't agree more. I hate the fact we've almost negated that whole season. Rewatching those plays was as exciting and thrilling as they were when they happened. That team was unbelievable, and sometimes it seems like all those moments were just swept under the rug after losing the SB, which is a shame really. We may have lost the big one but my God we had a helluva ride didn't we? We're so fortunate.

Great videos, thanks! (I didn't watch the Tyree catch tho ;) )

This one was one of my favorites from 07: LOL

It really was a privilege for the whole NFL world.
Not just us Pats fans.

I hear ya. Personally I'm just trying to get used to seeing it b/c like I said, its going to be replayed all the frikkin time this year. That and the Burress TD probably. The only other option is keeping the remote in hand ready to flip whenever CBS, FOX or NBC cues up this horrific piece of footage.
