Fields traded to Steelers

Then you don’t understand the method they use for valuing picks, you are just insisting you are right and ignoring it,

No, it is you that doesn't understand sir. Victory has been declared.
DECLARED sir!

6th rounder for a decent back up makes sense. Does nothing for Puttsburgh unless Wilson stinks up the joint or gets injured.

Does a lot for Fields if Wilson decides to mentor him which he doesnt take me as that sort of guy. He needed to sit a year and this is a good opportunity to improve other parts of his game.

I think Fields has a chance to play if he works hard. Wilson could be a mess in Pittsburgh, and he costs so little, it’s clear that no one there feels too committed to him. I could see Fields getting a shot midway into the season.

I didn’t want him but you can see the allure. He doesn’t blow by any means.

2300 yds 17 tds 11 ints, 1143 rush yds with 8 tds in 22.

2500yds 16tds 9 ints 657 rushing 4 tds in 23.

I could of lived with that last season. Just not sure if the guy was gonna progress any further was my question.
The Bears couldn't.

I don’t get the love for Fields. He isn’t good. He is the worst passer in the league. He is undisciplined. He can make great plays with his running ability, but since he isn’t a passer teams can prepare for it. So he looks great in highlight packages, but he doesn’t score points or rack up wins.

He was traded for a conditional 2025 6th (which is less than the Pats got for Mac Jones) because no one in the league thinks he is a starter.

Actually this is wrong. The pick can be as high as 4.

The Patriots only got a 6th.

It is unlikely the Bears are going to get that 4th since Wilson is the starter. So the Pats got more for Jones until proven otherwise.

He’s the worst passer in the league? Have you seen our guys? Didn’t he whip the sh@t out of us when we played him? Not saying he’s amazing…but he’s not untalented either. I would have taken him over Brissett.

Fields sucks, he completes 60% of his passes, he turns the ball over at a league leading pace, he averages about 150 yards passing per game.

You people telling us he good or misunderstood are delusional. This is why it took longer to trade him than Mac Jones.

That's because your evaluation method is flawed. This isn't fantasy football where there are no negative points for giving the ball away, and you don't get more points for running the ball.

You can't win if you turn the ball over to the other team. Brissett doesn't do that. Fields passes less than just about everyone and throws interceptions and fumbles like the ball is burning his hands.

The most important stat in football is points, the second most important stat is turnovers, because it most correlates to points.

Ok. The fact that the Patriots wouldn't give up a 6 that could be a 4 based on performance is actually ****ing insane.

Are they aware it's the off-season?
Not part of the plan dude.

Do they know they don't have enough picks in the draft to field the roster holes they still have?
They know what they have better than any of us. Main needs are QB1, WR1 and LT. They have 8 picks.

Is this what burning money looks like? Re signing the guys Bill took a beating for attaining?
They traded Mac, cut Parker, Guy, and others. I'm personally happy they corrected those mistakes. They retained players that filled roster holes so they don't have to draft them (see above).

If Jacoby is our QB this year then we might as well go all in on getting the number 1 overall right now.
Bears just traded their QB1. Bears have #1 pick.

You're not very good at this. You're pretty good at being emotional.

So why wasn’t Brissett a starter in this league over a Justin fields? Your evaluation is flawed sir.

Yeah but yours isn’t lol. He started last year, Brissett didn’t so he’s better lol.
