I agree, especially considering zero holes have been filled on the team, other than 3rd down back - and re-signing 10 guys from a 4-13 team.

Good, Justin Fields sucks.

He's an athlete masquerading as a QB that's why he's 10-28. I would rather have any of the first 4 QBs in the draft at least they have a chance to be something where as Fields will never be accurate and only get worse as his athletic ability diminishes.

Let the Steelers be stuck in .500 purgatory with their wheel of suck at QB wasting great defenses, go for the QB lottery ball and pray you get lucky.

I'm not saying he's the answer, especially since we are lining up to get a QB in the draft.

However I am saying that we don't know what he could be because this dude was dealing with a situation 100 times worse than what Mac was.

Jacoby is a team player who has a decade of experience playing in multiple offensive schemes and can mentor on that knowledge. Fields is a failure.

And yet Brissett's career QBR is 10 points higher than Field's 2023 QBR, and over 10 points higher than Fields' career QBR. Brissett isn't great, he's not even average, but he's better than Fields.

Wait. Was he? You sure? Darnell Mooney would have been far and away the best WR on the Patriots the last 2 years.

Well Frank, his stats are better than Fields. Please explain why you wanted to give up much needed draft capital for someone who isn't as good as Brissett, who according to you shouldn't be in the league.

Just want to emphasize that the Steelers gave up a conditional 2025 6th round pick, not a 2024 6th rounder. Mac fetched more in trade value than Fields.

Yet the rest of the league both only thought of them as 6th round value? Fields also is NOT competing for the starting job. He was trade just like Mac to be a back up.
