Believe that’s what Ridley got.
If so, I think NE just cuts him
If the league goes all sanctimonious on this then I want an outsider investigation of NFL officiating and point-shaving.

So now we’ve got “two feet in” - *finally*!!There's already a thread on this.
The devil’s in the details I suppose. Let’s wait and see what comes from the investigation. That’s what the Pats and NFL are going to do.If the accusation is true and he had hundreds of thousands of dollars of action in games in which he played, it is not much about nothing. It is a legit big deal.

While I agree we need to wait and see Boutte's side of the story, we are just a wee bit past the point of this being something "some local beat reporter gets wind of and puts on paper to make a name for himself." The arrest warrant specifically mentions their investigation methods and that he was betting on LSU games in which he participated. The devil’s in the details I suppose. No one should rush to any conclusions until the actual facts come out from the authorities…not just what some local beat reporter gets wind of and puts on paper to make a name for himself.
