Yeah they guy acts like his side wasn't losing their minds over Trump for over four years.
I get the message and where you were going with that, even though there's no need to bring politics into it because just like everywhere, you can't paint a broad brush based on a group of people.
I sort of fall on the same thing. If you don't like it, don't go in there.
And both 98.5 and WEEI are on-air video-wise in one form or another. Exciting stuff
One thing that will definitely help would be or people to also take an extra moment and say, "do I really want to go there?" on some of these posts before hitting the "reply" button. If you have a feeling that it will get somebody fired up or that you're thinking "I don't care" if it starts a problem, try and be self-aware enough to not push that button. That in and of itself would be a good first step and would probably make a difference in some of these threads
I've been rewriting code sitewide so far this offseason to drop some of the server load during peak times, which should hopefully help there. I'm also in discussions with the server company on some things, but what I'm working on should reduce the number of database calls considerably on game days, which should make a significant difference.
I noticed when that happens either something really good or something really bad happened with the Patriots. No in between! lol
I also think people are a little more volatile now given the current climate of things and online confrontation is almost cathartic to a certain extent because it's an outlet to let off a lot of the frustration people are feeling without much recourse. It's obviously spilled over to everywhere, including here. I get it - I got roped into it a little bit a couple of years ago before reminding myself that fighting with people is pointless.

I understand and obviously recognize the issue, which is and will continue to be challenging but I'm going to try and at least make things a little easier for people to control their experience if they so choose. I'm also hoping that people cooperate and help out, which I know is going to be a little tough but I'd like to think everyone collectively can try and come together a little more and work through them.

It's not lost on most of us that the poster you're replying to is the #1 instigator in bringing up Brady on non-relevant threads. He'll even bring him up on Pats GDTs. Most Brady threads on the main forum are started by posters that don't frequent the Brady forum. Of course, once Timmy begins bringing up the Giants SBs (which he loves to do), it turns into a shyt show.
TBH I don't think it'll ever be "normal" until BB and TB both retire. People are always going to be debating who was more important and who was wrong or who was right. I personally think BB and TB both made the right decision. We couldn't keep living on "is this the year" with Brady, we had to start rebuilding at some point. Although, I do feel like we need to try and find some common ground when it comes to the team itself, which with Mac here now will hopefully start to get a little easier this season.
I have a question about the above statement. If people are mad about gas prices, food prices, rent, the economy, their 5 year olds being spoke to about changing their gender, etc and these things can greatly affect their day to day lives (and obviously have), why aren't they allowed to exercise their 1st amendment right in a peaceful manor?
