Sam Roberts is going to be so motivated to make the Patriots. Godchaux better get his act together. Belichick is picking players to push the incumbents, that is for certain. I wonder if he was unhappy with the vibe last season, particularly the veterans.

I am surprised he’s actually using all of his picks, but yeah your outlook makes sense in that context.

Biggest surprise for me now is no OT, but they do have quite a few guys on the roster at that position, just not anyone I think much of.

I actually wonder how a team would do if they employed this strategy every year. Just pick the best SEC player left on the board, no matter what, and see how it pans out. I have a feeling you'd have a pretty damned good team doing it that way.
