Sam Jones was a role player, but an excellent one at that. He was a member of 10 championship teams and served as the wingman to Bill Russell in Boston’s early years. Jones was a career 17.7 PPG scorer and he went to five All-Star Games.what is a role player

CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED by the Hall of Fame VOTERS Gino Cappelletti

- Adalius Thomas
One game wonder: Who remembers Brooks Barnard? Belichick cut Ken Walter, the weak legged but coffin corner accurate punter for one game in horrible, windy weather. Barnard punts well in the slop. Belichick cuts him and resigned Walter that week.
Loved Bobby Hamilton, very emotional player on a very underrated defense. Pleasant as well. Loved Teddy Washington.Antowain Smith is the forgotten Patriots RB. Rewatch the first two 3 Games to Glorys to be reminded. Especially 2001. Hell, especially the SB. I thought he had a shot at SB MVP for a while that game.
Bobby Hamilton and Anthony Pleasant had big moments that year as well.
