The Patriots have issues at the offensive line, tight end and receiver, and are expected to push for players like Bengals receiver A.J. Green and/or tight end Tyler Eifert; those players also appeal to the Saints, sources said, who made a real effort to land Denver's Emmanuel Sanders a year ago and likely would again.

If the money works would love to get OJ Howard, a receiver on a rookie contract, or a offensive lineman.

Patriots do not have the cap room to add players.

Trade for Aaron Dobson and Chad Jackson.

I’m curious to hear from people disagreeing with this why they think the patriots have cap room. Last I checked they were under half a million.

Ever heard of extensions or reworking a contract? Maybe not someone over 10 million dollars but assuming they trade for a guy like sanders they wouldn’t have to pay his salary but i believe half of it.

I expect the chiefs to be all in on a guy like chris harris. Wouldn’t have to give up a first rounder.

Of course I have heard of extensions.
But I don’t see what extensions could be for at this point if the season they would free up enough money to make a significant acquisition.
At this point they may need to extend players to add a street free agent if they have injuries.

I’m not talking about a player over 10 million dollars but i am sure they can free up under 10 million. Maybe guys like corey davis, or the tight end from Atlanta. Idk.

a 6th to Dallas for Flemming.

If they included Bennett in any trade, wouldn't that free up $2.6 million? Not a lot but enough to work with depending if the acquired player is on a rookie deal......

He’s a starter for them right now. Left tackle last week, probably right tackle this week if Smith is back.

Why don't we actually try out this guy for real? I mean, the actual guy in the photo. He might have something- could probably block better than Izzo.

The Patriots are continuing to lay the groundwork for some trades, including receiver and tight end. If anything does go down, wouldn't expect it to happen this weekend. twitter.com/jeffphowe/stat…

Apparently, someone needs to tell BB&Co. to stop wasting their time, because the team's 6-0. Obviously, nothing needs to be done, and the team should just roll with what it has right this moment.

I was at the Enterprise counter at Logan's rental center a few months ago and I swear the guy in this photo is the guy who rented me my mid size sedan
