The 2001 Super Bowl was fixed because the NFL wanted a red white and blue team which is named the Patriots to win.
Haven't heard that one in a while.

It makes more sense then "The NFL wanted the Rams to move into their new stadium with a Super Bowl victory so they told the refs not to call the pass interference penalty that would have won the game for the Saints".

That said, it's funny how many Chiefs fans came over here the other week (and vice-versa) yet to date there have been zero Rams forum wars...

Patriots fans might want to have their excuses ready, too, just in case.

Fans of The team that just benefited from the worst no call in nfl history is worried about getting screwed??

It's like a pre-GDT.

This is kinda sad and pathetic that some fans sincerely believe their team is getting screwed, the outcome is fixed, etc.

How about:
Your ownership sucks,
Your management sucks,
Your coaches suck,
Your team is undisciplined and soft because of the above 3 items.

Your team picks high in the draft, yet selects talented headcases over solid players.

The other sad narrative is the league wants the Pats to win and went light on the Pats for cheating.
How about, "The jealous billionaires club wants parity and ginned up false accusations in a ham handed attempt to even things up."

Well that makes absolutely no sense since the Rams aren't moving into KroenkeLand until 2020.

Well that's great news! Guess we get to relax this Sunday after all!

It behooves us all to never forget how the NFL covered up Deflategate.

I saw a blurb on the squeeler board recently that referenced ESPN and how they were so favorably biased for the Pat's because they are in Ct.

Roll that one around in your head a few times.

Interestingly enough, they haven't capitalised on these excuses. Seeing a lot of honest Rams fans admitting better team won.
