So the question is, is @Deus Irae dumber than a Simpelton?

That depends. I hate answering a question with a question but since all simpletons are not created equal and a Simpleton is not necessarily representative of all simpletons, where does the one in question rank in comparison to a box of rocks on the relative dumbness scale?

JPP's nickname captain Hook??:D My nickname on the Basketball Court.

how many sacks did danny shelton and adrian clayborn have last year with the patriots?
Danny Shelton had 0 sacks last year and a total of 1.5 sacks in his three-year career and is primarily a run-stopper. Clayborn had 6 of his 9.5 sacks in one game and arrives with considerable injury concern. If you are highly satisfied and think that this is enough to improve the pass rush your standards must be very low.

i guess your reading comprehension isn't great. how many of those sacks where WITH the patriots?

Oh, my bad. They'll suddenly turn into the next coming of LT because they'll play on the Patriots. Who cares about what they've done in the past. They are awesome! Heck yeah, 19-0 baby!

Nobody made the claim that $35m = $65m

If you're going to call people simpletons, you should probably not be acting like one while doing so.

Maybe Tampa got a 3 finger discount?

Does anyone consider such things?

Obviously you didn't, otherwise you would have seen that I stated that I don't want JPP's contract. But yeah, just continue to keep up being a forum gestapo by insulting everybody who *gasp* dares to have a differing opinion. You doing a great job! Make Patsfans Great Again!

Triggered?

It's like trying to talk to a toddler.

A player you don't want signed with another team, and you complained about the patriot defense.

Someone says that they patriots are trying to fix the defense via the trade and signing of three players, and your response is to call them part of the nazi gestapo.

Then instead of trying to understand that last years team isn't this years team, you get facetious because you don't understand that coaching actually DOES have an impact on how well players do.

I'd ask you what you think the patriots should have done instead this off season, but more then likely your too stupid to have an actual clear thought and would just complain that "I'm not the GM why should i suggest what the team could have done" before you head over to the FA thread and see that johnny manziel signed a 50 year deal with some israeli team before posting something along the lines of "And here we are with a QB that doesn't like strawberries, not that i wanted manziel"

Very funny coming from a guy who made any form of civilised talk impossible by posting stuff like that

but i had to google translate it from "WAHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHHHH" first.

A guy who acted overly defensive as if nothing the Patriots ever do could be *gasp* suboptimal and tries to shut up any form of opposition by completely ridiculing the post - in addition to disingenuously glossing over half of it. And a guy who now calls other people stupid.

In German they have a very wise proverb about people who are throwing around with stones while sitting in a house made of glass. You would be well advised to take a look in the mirror when calling people stupid.

One day... one day I shall outthink the box. One day.

I remember Box O Rocks...Wherever you are, Mr Box, hope you're well.

Doubt it.

Completely overpaid. Makes no sense. It's not like Tampa Bay is 8.5 sacks away from being a contender.

I think Box has left the mortal coil, Stoney....last year I believe

You do understand that the single biggest issue this team had last year was the DL ? Right ? Branch turning into a shadow of himself resulted in more bodies for the pass rush to fight through and LBs that had to deal with players spilling into the second level instead of being kept in the trenches. Having a player like Shelton who should be able to 2 gap will single-handedly improve on that issue substantially.

This means Flowers, Rivers and Clayborn will ideally need less time to get to the QB and Hightower, KVN & co will not be in mop up duty most of the time.

Well, then, count me in on that "low standards" thing.
