You do get the feeling that Josh is one element that makes the Brady/Belichick relationship work smoothly. Tom's all emotion and Bill's all cold logic, and Josh always seems to be the smooth go-between of the two.

I’m not aware of any of that. I started wondering if he was going to actually take the job when he took a second interview Super Bowl week. He reportedly was checking to see if he really wanted to work for Irsay. After that I kept looking for a confirmation that he had signed and never saw it,

If this doesn’t demonstrate that MacDaniels has learned from his experiences, matured, and developed into someone who makes really good decisions then nothing will.
