Brock was a Rick Smith/Bob Mcnair guy. McNair said after the 2015 season that they were going to get a QB, so they pick a dude they didn't even interview with.

Brock has a superbowl ring. How many Browns QBs can say that?

even if he never plays another down in the NFL, the dude made $37m for playing 1 year. i'm not too worried about him.

I don't think he was Billy O's guy. management made Billy O take him.

Billy O did gush all over him once Brock got there though.

If you think about this it makes sense.

The next stop after the Browns (for QBs) is usually retirement/obsolescence.

Just to set the record straight, the Green Bay Packers have won 13 titles in 95 seasons for 13.7 % winning.

The Cleveland Browns are next with 8 titles in 67 years for 11.9%.

The Pats are tied with Dallas for 5th place all time with 5 titles in 56 years for 8.9%.

If I remember correctly, there was some friction this past season when O'Brien wanted to bench Osweiler and just roll with Savage into the playoffs.

In classic Browns fashion they even told people about the pick being what they wanted essentially confirming they broke the rules..
