It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Mmm ... isn't it about time to point out that Burgess didn't just "skip" camp? He had a problem to deal with and BB gave him the time to do it -- and protected his privacy. I'm expecting Burgess to repay that support.
Exactly. Wilfork went to bat for Burgess pretty vocally against the notion that he was just skipping camp. That's good enough for me.
Hey -- I have a question and this seems like as good a place as any to ask it. My understanding is that "camp" is now ending. I know that means no more public practices, and maybe even fewer media opportunities. But what exactly does it mean for the players and coaches? What do they do on a "camp" day that they might not do the day after "camp" ends, and vice versa.
Since signing his new deal Vince has shown himself to be 100% heart-and-soul engaged with the good of the team. I'd be shocked if he weren't one of the captains.
As a general thing, typically the end of camp means the end of two-a-days, curfews, team meals, bunking, etc. Focus expands from skill instruction and conditioning to include game preparation. The Patriots are unique in that their "training camp" is conducted on site at their normal practice facility. Many NFL teams will hold their training camps at colleges because it allows them to do many of the things described, like bunk players and hold team meals in cafeterias.
...Favre will crush their hearts and I hope he does. Anyone that kisses Farve's ass deserves the stink bomb sure to come their way. His Int/TD ratio is just awesome! I want to see another epic fail from that guy and want to see his pimp (ESPN) scramble to cover his ass. Maybe I can hear another gem from Mr. Jackson. I especially loved this one as he was trying to defend that attention whore. "Brett has never been afraid of throwing a pick." Yah, think? LOL!!!!
The Vikings should have traded for McNabb. They'd have 3-4 years window at least with him at the helm.he just did not want to go to TC and the Vikings HC was in on it
with Jackson at QB they are a 9-7 one and done playoff team at best with Favre, at QB they got a shot at a SB so like Kontra said if i was a Vikings fan i would not care

Favre's stats in his last game of each of the past 9 seasons:
2001-2002 - 6 Int in divisional round loss
2002-2003 - 2 int in home wildcard loss
2003-2004 - last throw was interception to set up Philly to win ("And with one desperation heave, Brett Favre threw away Green Bay’s chance at another Super Bowl.")
2004-2005 - 4 ints in home wildcard loss to vikings
2005-2006 - no playoffs, no chance to get into playoffs in last game
2006-2007 - no playoffs, no chance to get into playoffs in last game
2007-2008 - 2 ints in loss to giants. in OT - 14:04 C. Webster intercepted B. Favre for 9 yards - Giants score to win off this turnover
2008-2009 - nothing to play for but pride, Favre throws Int on Miami's 29 yard line on drive to tie game
2009-2010 - Pick on NO's 38 yard line with chance to win the game in regulation
If the game matters, Brett Favre is perhaps the worst qb in the NFL.
This is a triumph for people who need to be hugged and told they are loved constantly.

Why doesn't the SOB just take over as coach too while he's at it?
