Why is the media hyping up the Dolphins?

Let's see where Miami is over the course of their next 6 games, 5 of which are against last year's playoff teams.

If they beat some of the teams like ATL, NO, BAL, CIN, and NE, then we can take them seriously.

Either way, it looks like they are our main competition for the division this year, so it helps their cause to get off to a 2-0 start.

Cuz everybody needs to get paid.

It's because Tannehill is a good QB, he'll be one of the best in the AFC.

When Brady retires, he'll be the best in the division, and better than anyone in the north, behind only Luck and maybe Rivers in the AFC.

I don't know about that. Manuel might have something to say about that.

If I recall, Miami was very active in the off-season overpaying for "marquee" free agents. Everyone knows that's a guarantee of success in the NFL.

Right? :rocker:

Well, maybe not "everyone", but that's what the idiots in the media think...l

Tannehill looks good with actual weapons, simple as that.

Because we are the "worst 2-0 team in the history of football" as per CHB.

Every year, the media jumps all over a team with a fast start. This year's flavor of the month is the Dolphins. I thought it was funny that Peter King ranked them 5th on his latest power ranking in his MMQB.

He also said on the Dan Patrick show that pats are the 2-0 team most in trouble before even the question was finished.

Yup. CHB had his BFF Ryan on CSNNE tonight with Tanguay (now, there's a trifecta for ya.). Ryan and Shank were rocking their Cialis over the Pats' demise.

I am so glad I do not have the time to watch or listen to these douchebags Felger, Mazz, Gresh, CHB, Borges ... all of them.

I didnt watch or read either. CHB just tweeted out the article. Another tweet of his said that the Booth review would not have been overturned if CBS was calling the play. They have been gleefully expecting the Sox demise all season and now that hopes are evaporating they are turning to the pats.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I couldn't help but notice you left the /sarc off the end of your post.

Really, you think Gabbert, Weeden, Dalton are better? Alex Smith? Pryor? Geno? Should have remembered Flacco, I was wrong there, but who is better.

If you had to draft these guys again in 3 years, who would you take?

Rivers will be 35, Flacco will be 32.

Based on everything we know, Tannehill gets picked 2nd or 3rd out of AFC QBs.

I am not a Manuel fan at all. Not at all. Watched him at Florida St., watched him here in Buffalo.

Thats pretty funny stuff.

Re: Re: Why is the media hyping up the Dolphins?

It's as if the Patriots are playing in a competitive division according to these mediots.

Trannehill has played well with his all pro receiving corp, Grimes appears to be playing like he did in Atlanta 3 years ago, they have Wake and a few other very good defenders.

I think they're a team to watch, actually the way Manuel is playing in Buffalo I think the AFC East as a whole is much improved. Sucks that these teams improvements coninside with us having a new receiving corp, a ton of injuries, and are all pro tight end held without bail.

Asking 'why is the media hyping' anything is a good indicator you don't get how media works in this day and age.

Wedden is awful, the Browns need to cut bait and move on preferably to giving us a early round pick for Mallett aka wishful thinking :)

I do think you will see some QB's who come out in the next 5 years that will be better than Trannehill, hopefully one lands here to be the heir apparent to Brady.
