A blast from the past. He's playing in the CFL http://www.theexaminer.com/npps/story.cfm?ID=304

    Here's the relevant bit:

Head coach Bill Belichick gave Davis the start over Troy Brown.

“That was beautiful,†said Davis about his first catch. “It was a stress relief. To be on the big stage and to start was a big deal to me because I felt I was representing Southeast Texas. I learned a lot about playing in the NFL. Not just about the physical aspect part of it, but the business side and how to be a grown person. They run those teams like a business. You have to learn so much in so little (time). It’s not like having fun in college.â€

I believe that was Shockmain, with an i. Good luck to him, some success in the CFL and he may make it back to the NFL.

He was a senior when I was a sophmore. He tore us up when we played them.

Right then I knew he would one day be a part of the Patriots the same season we won the Super Bowl with our backup QB. No, really. :)

All I recall is that he had one very, VERY big catch in that game. Couldn't take it to the house, but a big play nonetheless.
