Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Third re-thinking:

I'm most interested to see No Injuries.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

maroney, cassel, willie andrews, caldwell
and to see who they line up in the secondary and at lb to start

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Fourth re-thinking:

Gil and Gino turned on, TV turned down, Reiss' blog open, PatsFans.com chatroom open for Play-by-Play (that's right, I'll be back!)

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

forgot to mention Alexander. talked about him a do or die year so hes going to have to play big to keep a roster spot..coaches said he has a shot at being the LB Phifer was..passing downs and stuff.

NO INJURIES

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Falcons I'm interested in:

Lawyer Milloy
John Abraham
Michael Jenkins
DJ Shockley
DeAngelo Hall (can't wait for his regular season matchup vs Chad Johnson)

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Amen to No Injuries.
The Kickers
the backup LBs
Chad Scott and Eric Warfield
the backup OL
The WRs (aside from #80)
Matt Cassell
The Returners

True, but he's already done some well-reported 'confidence building excersizes' with the rook, so he may want to build him up even more by letting him start. It'd boost not only his confidence, but the confidence of the team in the new kicker.

I think having the rook warm up and play the first half is better for him. He is going to be nervous as hell anyway, get him out there and kicking early instead of hanging around on the sideline for almost two hours before he goes out there. Gramatica is probably better suited to sit and come in later at this point. JMO.

Eric Warfield

Yeah what happened to Warfield? I've only heard one little negative piece on him. I guess he didn't come in for some off-season teaching and is way behind.
I thought he had a lot of physical skills, and under real coaching (they don't teach fundamentals at KC) he could potentially blossom.

From Reiss' chat yesterday re: Warfield:

Warfield hasn't done enough to move up the depth chart. Seems to me he's in a serious fight for a roster spot. Haven't spoken with him since the first few days of camp to relay his feelings at this time.

...and then this when asked about Tebucky vs Warfield.

Jones looks better than Warfield to me.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

58 - Jeremy Mincey
2 - Kelvin Kight
43 - Vernell Brown

These players have piqued my interest.

Coincidentally, all three played their college ball in Florida.

Remember, even a healthy and financially satisfied Deion Branch sat out all the preseason games last year.

You can't get away with those lies here, Mr. Pioli, right under our noses.
'Cause NOW we know that the poor lad was writhing inside
from the indignity and unfairness of the contract you had forced upon him as a rook.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Maroney
Caldwell
Gardner
Wright
Hobbs

I'll be very glad if there's play-by-play for the games that aren't on regular TV. Who knows if my local bars will hve the non-Tv preseason games.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Deon Branch...I think he is going to surprise us all and put the team before his contract squabbles. Think of how happy Tom will be. I just can't wait till Friday.

Very good point. Besides, you wouldn't want to see Gramatica celebrate the opening kickoff and hurt his knee since he's not fully loose yet.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

I second the NO INJURIES idea and want acknowledge Eric Alexander, as well, who seems to be constantly lost in the shuffle in these LB conversations, particularly by me.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

I'm excited to see everyone out there, but most notably:

Maroney
C. Jackson
Beisel
Watson
Roach
Woods
Mincey
Stevenson
O'Callaghan
Mankins

and no injuries as well.

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Pats1, patchick, patchick87, Patsfan37, Flying Fungi, T-Shirt Dynasty, PATSNUTme, and all of youse mugs in the game thread (I gave up on the chat garbage) - instant analysis and spirited (and usually respectful) discussion. Oh baby, oh baby!

And of course: Hank Poteat and Dan Klecko!

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

Corey Dillon on the opening two drives.

Search for our third best reciever...behind Caldwell & Brown(I doubt Branch is done with holdout).

Maroney, have fun watching him.

See how James Sanders plays.

Where Wilson plays, CB or Safety.
