Pats1, patchick, patchick87, Patsfan37, Flying Fungi, T-Shirt Dynasty, PATSNUTme, and all of youse mugs in the game thread (I gave up on the chat garbage) - instant analysis and spirited (and usually respectful) discussion. Oh baby, oh baby!

And of course: Hank Poteat and Dan Klecko!

No problem. I'll start up a game discussion thread too.

To (painfully) remind everyone of the last discussion thread:

Klecko!
(Message too short? I hate that I can't just shout Klecko! or Hank! in a thread)

Re: Wo you most excited to see tonight?

Matt Cassell. Big test for him tonight.

Is he a legitimate backup?
Do we need another vet QB?
Will he have some trade value down the road?

Re: Wo you most excited to see tonight?

* Cassell to see if he has happy feet and is possibly indecisive under a rush as Mrs B observed
* O'Callaghan at RT to see if he's the road grader we expect
* Mike Wright & Sully on DL vs game opposition
* Learn the names of our no-name ILBs
* Root for obscure summer players who'll never play in the NFL regular season

The LB's and if there are 3 or 4 out there at a time tonight...

agreed. Matt Cassell.

Is he making a leap comparable to what TB made in year two?

Re: Who are you most interested in watching Fri in Atlanta?

I want to watch Maroney and Caldwell to see how they play in real game situations...both have looked great in camp.

I want to see if Cassel has improved from last year...if he has learned anything from Brady. This is a big night for the kid in my opinion.

By position:

QB:
Cassel - very important to see what we have with this young man

RB:
Dillon - Wanna see his speed
Maroney - Well its Maroney i wanna see him :)

Mills - He will be a head turner

WR:
Caldwell - See how well he fits in
Brown - seeing if he stilll looks ageless
Jackson - Probably wont play but we'll see
Berlin - New guy, testing
Childress/Stone - Once again could be battling for a spot

TE:
All of them

DL:
Sullivan
Wright
Klecko

LB:
Mincey
Roach
Woods
Gardner
Beisel

S:
Harrison
Tebucky

For me it has to be Maroney and the kickers with Beisel worked in but I don't think he'll be in there much.

When was the last time any of us actually watched what a kicker was doing in pre-season?

I can not wait to get some looks at Maroney as well.......he should get alot of reps.....the WR situation also has me intrigued.....doubt that C.J. has cleared PUP yet right?....but Caldwell.....Berlin......I want to see what they have........Beisel.....I saw enough of him last year.......I agree also about the kicking situation.....alot of eyes on that too.........

Since no one else will mention him - Cobbs.

Ditto. Interested in the battle at Right Tackle... and some of our new Tight Twins Keron and Keon... no, Kevon and Kelvin.. awe hell, I just wanna see the newbies catching the ball.

Also very curious about the kicking game, and the return team.
