Cassel will stop improving when he becomes enlightened and it no longer will be necessary for his soul to walk the earth in human form. That is the only true answer to your poll. So it is written. So it shall be.

Where is the option:
When he leaves the Patriots, at which point he will revert to an over-rated back-up only concerned about the money system quarterback.

Cassel will only continue to get better, much like the Incredible Shrinking Man will continue to shrink, he will get better and better and better until he grows to be 19 feet tall, throws the ball on a line 5 miles downfield ( or down Route 1), and they will have to invent an entire new sport, let alone league, for him.
They will call it the National Cassel League and he will be the first commissioner and its only star, in fact, its only player.
Then it will come out he made his pit bulls fight each other and it will all come crashing down............

Others mistakenly say these things about a certain middle-age B-movie actor and martial artist (except the last one)...

- Outer space exists because it's afraid to be on the same planet with Matt Cassel.

- Matt Cassel can kill two stones with one bird.

- Matt Cassel can eat just one Lay's potato chip.

- Matt Cassel counted to infinity - twice.

- Matt Cassel can slam a revolving door.

- Matt Cassel doesn't manage the clock. HE decides what time it is.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

When he plays for another team next year. It seems like NE can get the best out of players. Once they get their big contracts elsewhere, they more often than not seem to fade into mediocrity...at least recently that has been the case.

I don't really agree with the premise of the poll. I think he will continue to progress as a quarterback over the years... and thus his "improvement" as you put it, won't end at any of these points.

What he said.

Moss was saying after the game that he cant belive the dolphins would disrespect him by playing single coverage on him. Iam very glad that Cassel has improved well enough that Cassel was able to exploit the single coverage that was on moss. This just proves that if Cassel goes to another team and plays with high calibre WRs he would play well with them.

Cassel can run, so now even if you put double coverage on moss, you might leave gaffney or watson open, but even then Cassel can still tuck the ball away and run with it, this makes Cassel such a dangerous QB. Cassel has also been releasing the ball quickly. That small lob to moss for the touchdown was so nice.

Iam hoping that Cassel will improve on his throws on the run, cause this really benefits shifty WR like Welker or speedy TEs like Watson. Even if the opposing defense switches to a QB contain or zone defense, the patriots can still run the ball well enough to exploit it.

We'll see what kind of quarterback he really is during the Pitt game, but he played well against the Jets and Miami thus far so I'm not sure if their D will be a problem for him.
