I think david andrews has done a yeomen's job at center and it would be intersting to see what happens to him once stork gets back. what do you guys think about tre jackson and shaq mason?
Outstanding job as a unit so far, but still "incomplete" in the run game. In addition to Stork, don't forget Wendell returning. Rotation could get really crazy in a couple of weeks.
I'm still trying the get acclimated to this rotational situation at guard. From a traditional sense, I just want 5 guys going out there that know each other that function at a high-level as a unit.
I'm hoping BB settles on the guard situation because from a cohesion standpoint, its for the best. With that said, I am being proven wrong- and thats ok.
That might be a nice byproduct of what's going on.I've been wondering if he's playing a little chess here. Getting the upcoming teams looking at tape where there is a steady rotation of personnel without any implications on play calling. Then, half way into the season, we see a shift where certain guys are playing more when they are ahead and running the ball, and other guys playing when they are passing it. Then, just when those substitutions start to mean something to the opposition, he switches it back to being completely unpredictable, putting the opposing defense off balance.
Probably reading too much into it...
Or maybe not becoming unpredictable, but setting traps. Like he trapped Pete Carroll.I've been wondering if he's playing a little chess here. Doubtful and plus it's not like we are going to pay chancellor which is what he wants. Let's pump the brakes on trading anyone and make sure that Andrews doesn't start getting exposed in a few weeks, also you can never have enough o-line depthWith the emergence of David Andrews, I wonder if Brian Stork could be used as trade bait. I love Stork and the fact that he was an integral part of our SB win, but Andrews isn't much of a step down.
Seattle needs a center, and Chancellor will likely still be looking for more guaranteed money at some point. Or, we could go after a CB.
