Thursday, Nov. 12
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Collins did not practice today, and is very weak, since he hasn't been able to eat all week.
He could have broken his big toe.Marcus Cannon's injury is bodering on ridiculous you think he would be ready by now. Vollmer is probably a scratch now not good going up against Pierre Paul. This Game my be closer than we would like depending on Tackle situation.
They activate Fletcher now Collins is down - Only makes sense
I find it hard to believe, in Collins' case, that a 26 year old athlete in peak physical condition, with access to team nutritionists, doctors, and wellness staff would be out with a "flu" for more than a few days. I'm guessing this is more than run of the mill "flu".

I dont disagree with you, but my point was more they dont need to use the spot on another RB or something, so why not just use it on a LB now another is down.. Unless you beleave they should use it on a OL, would make sense alsoI missed the part where Collins was important in our efforts last week.
Our primary linebackers are Freeney and Hightower. We also have Mayo and Bostic. Our need for another linebacker in vastly over-rated, especially since our average number of linebackers on the field is under 2.5.
Fletcher might be activated. that is another issue. I prefer him to McDonald as a special teamer.
