My binkie, Austen Lane.
Dunlap and Lane are the two pass rushers I'd really like to get at this point, especially with Romeus staying in school.
I like Dunlap's upside, and I was also interested in Romeus.
Any other's you like?
Jason Pierre-Paul has a lot of upside but is very raw and somewhat uncoordinated right now. I'd consider him in the 2nd, but someone will probably reach in the 1st.
Jeremy Beal from Oklahoma would be interesting, if he declares, but that doesn't seem likely at the moment.
Yeah, JPP is raw. Very gangly, he can't really control his body that well.
That's what I really like about Lane. From what little I've been able to see and tell, he seems to have terrific body control and agility given his length, strength and speed.
I think JPP is 50-50 as to whether he becomes a Javon Kearse or a Jarvis Moss. That's too risky for me in the 1st round.

Jarvis Moss may have developed as an OLB. He was a fail as a DE. In fact, McDaniels/Nolan haven't felt the need to cut him yet, so they may feel he still has some potential. Anthony Spencer, from the same draft, took two-and-a-half years in a 3-4 to finally start to shine.
And you're still goofy. (It's not like he'd have done anything for NE this season, and he's playing in that "other" 3-4, so even if he's making the transition to OLB, it's no guarantee he'd be a fit here.)Denver was reportedly offering Moss last spring for a 7th round pick and I suggested picking him up, and was generally ridiculed.
And you're still goofy.
If that's the worst anyone calls me, I'll be lucky.
