If we win today, we will set at least 5 records related to winning:

- Most Wins In The Regular Season in NFL history
- Most Wins In The Regular Season in franchise history
- First Perfect 16-Game Season
- First Team to be 16-0
- Most Consecutive Wins in the Regular Season in NFL History, beating their 18 from 2003-2004

Funny how at 19, we would be just two wins away from 21, the NFL Consecutive Win Record that has a spot in the Hall of Fame designed for it.

If we win this game and the Super Bowl, we'd start next season with 19 consecutive regular season wins, and 19 consecutive wins including playoffs. After 3 wins in the first 3 games, opponents would be trying to stop TWO records at once (both at 22 wins -- the regular season being the official record, and the 22 wins with playoffs bettering the hall of fame shrine for the 21 wins.) Interesting, huh?

...Aren't 3 and 4 the same? And if not, technically the Dolphins were 16-0 on their way to 17-0.

Don't they need only 6 points to break the Vikings season scoring record?

Randy Moss was also on that team.

There are a lot of records that could fall today...

Actually, the Pats set that record last week; they'd just be extending their own mark. ;)

That 21 includes playoffs. This currently-18 doesn't.

[Another amazing fact: even if you remove the two winning streaks, the Patriots with Brady at QB are still 49-24 in the regular season.]
