Fans down here are unbearable right now...Its like their Superbowl..

the panthers will lose to the jets....book it....probably lose to the dolphins, too and get swept by the AFC east

I think it's cute that you're on a 1st name basis with NFL players

I think the way you try to deflect attention away from the topic at hand is cute....

Looking forward to a good game between 2 teams playing well. 15 days is just too long to wait for a game. I believe the game will be won on the lines. I really like the Pats chances if the OL can keep Brady clean.

Umm... . Panthers may lose to them both.

I don't...not with the change in philosophy our coaches took after NE.

I understand that as a NE fan you have little reason to follow anything going on here.....but Ron Rivera has flat out given away tons of games. Comical how many games this team should/could of won.

He is now allowing his players to win them. Unlike many coaches, he called himself on it....and is no longer getting in the way.

We got the Jets @ Carolina. We ain't losing that home game.

Seriously? I live 20 minutes from the stadium and I'm well aware of the Panthers personel and ablities. I'm also well aware that the Panthers and their fans have a tendency to get way ahead of themselves resulting in them more often than not stepping on their ****s....

my point exactly....

you aren't informed enough to have such a conversation with. Like I said, I don't blame you for that.....you have no reason to of followed Ron Rivera and the comical losses we have had b/c of his old coaching philosophy.

He called himself out, he changed. Doesn't always happen in the ego driven world of the NFL.

Buffalo was just a flashback to all the games in 2011 and 2012 he gave away playing not to lose....when he had the talent to easily win. Dating back to 2011, Ron Rivera has lead late in most games of his career as a HC.....he just finally realized how he was hurting us.

stealing my lines....that's funny

other than that, it just sounds like more excuses

I never claimed to be a football expert. You just need to know that your team being on a 5 game winning streak does not give you football knowledge. if it does, then you've been pretty dumb most of your time

Brady is going to get hit a lot, but they still have to put up points.

The pats 3rd down numbers on both sides of the ball makes me question this team tonight.

I think Shane Veeren solves our 3rd down problems from now on...we have been without that option sice week 2. And if Aaron Dopson picks up where he left off the sky's the limit.

Every game against the Patriots is the opponents' fans' Super Bowl.

It is what it is.

It's always cute to see the bumpkins get excited.

Evidently, the Glee Club is organizing a "Blackout" tonight. The team is wearing black jerseys and the fans are being instructed to wear all black.

It's spine tingling excitement. :D

Oh ya? Did you look into your crystal ball?

I did and

The panthers defense haven't given up 2 touchdown in the first in five weeks.

Honestly, it's gotten to the point where it's like Tom is used to getting hit now. I don't think it rattles him as much as it did in 2010 or 2011. Maybe it rattles the WR's hands, but they've given up a lot of sacks, and the only game where it looked like he was really ruffled over it was the Cincy game. If I had been sacked on a handoff, I would've been a little rattled too.

Brady has always cussed his receivers on camera; people are just paying more attention to it this year.

Contrary to the popular topic of our O vs. their D, I think this game boils down to our defense vs. their offense, and we could easily lose that battle. Either they turn the ball over on O a few times, or we lose. I think our O vs. their D will be a give and take where we score 20 or so points off of good, long drives with no real dominant side, and we either snap up some points based on good field position from turnovers and win, or we don't turn them over and lose by a FG or TD.

Pats are also underdogs for the broncos game at home...first time since 2005 i think?

It's interesting that it's the first home game that we're underdogs in 8 yrs, although I would imagine that the majority of those here who follow the sportsbooks and pointspreads would have definitely had DEN as a favorite.

I know I would, and pointed it out last night. I would have to guess (and I honestly haven't seen it listed yet) that DEN would be anywhere from a 2-4 point favorite, although I'd probably lean towards the lower end of the spectrum at about 2.5 to maybe 3. It just seems right.

Pats automatically get 3 for being at home..so really 5.5 under
