Toughest QB?

Does David Carr make the list? Obviously he's not a winning QB, but the number of hits he's taken in the last three years, and how he's carried himself in the media -- no complaining or throwing teammates under the bus -- should at least meet the criteria of "tough".

Actually, Carr is probably one of the toughest imo also...good call.

His oline was so bad...

Drew is also pretty tough. Not mentally though...like someone else said before.

Any list like this with McNair and not Bledsoe is not a correct list.

Agree 100% - they both have their flaws as QBs - but if we're talking tough, these guys need to be on the list.... and I don't even count a tough Mo Lewis hit for Bledsoe...

He had me when he played with staples in his throwing hand.

I have always considered Drew Bledsoe to be one of the toughest QBs ever. I mean this guy gets sacked 5-6 times per game. (5 or 6 sacks was a season for Marino). Bledsoe's lack of mobility means taking constant shots.

And after all that punishment, he has only missed serious playing time due to injury once in his career.

Gotta respect Bledsoe. He left the hospital after recovering from the Lewis hit and went straight to Foxboro, not home. I agree about the lack of mental toughness though too.
