I think his post-camp interview is going stomp on the poor shriveled hearts of a lot of local pus... pundits.

Thought I'd start a thread on it as it comes through twitter and then we can post the whole thing and chuckle with glee.

I'll stop this post with Ian the Rapper's summary:

But, but Mike Silver said Tom wasn't happy, and everyone else that posts on the internet agrees...I think I'll take their word over that of Tom Brady thank you.

Clayton and Mort look dumber by the day. I love it.

I'm listening to 98.5 right now and Zolak is using this to back the Felger/Mort opinion that he's unhappy.

That's just embarrassing. Our media needs an overhaul, badly.

The medium has become the message, not vice versa... it is a sad commentary that it is more about their inflated egos than about the story..

True dat. It's been a long time in the making, however. You can trace it back to Cronkite in Vietnam, and right up through the Big-3 TV companies making their evening news programing a part of their "entertainment" divisions.

I heard the interview, one thing that stuck out to me was when Brady was asked about his relationship with the orginazation ie good, bad etc. he hesitated and said he didn't want to answer that because it might affect the team or something to that affect. Did anyone else catch that.

    Was it this bit?

I think it's generic non-talk. Is he bothered a deal isn't done? Sure. Does saying so help? Newp. Does it mean he hates his boss or job? Obviously not.

I think its in-line with him saying he wasn't going to talk about contract issues with the team. I wouldn't read so much into that.

Yup and it doesn't sound as bad reading it as it did listening to it. But on the other hand someone could argue that if it were positive why not come out and say so, how would that affect the team negatively.

But then again i'm sure TB understands that the CBA situation is whats holding a new contract up and that its very difficult for the Pats to come up with a new contract when they don't know what is going to happen.

    From TFB's QA:

Did TFB just join this team? It surely seems so because his years here, his contributions here, his loyalty, his accomplishments, everything, seems to have just completely disappeared from people's memory. That or they must believe he's been abducted by aliens and replaced by a PodPerson.

It's one thing to analyze and/or critique his quarterbacking, his football; it's quite another to try and assign negative qualities grown from nothing but speculation and a desire to have a headline.

It's bad and sad enough that he's somehow been placed in the "bi*chy millionaire" category (even though neither he nor the Patriots have ever fed anybody any credible backup for this portrayal), but for it to get to the point he has to defend himself over it is ridiculous.

If it weren't for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick our media would be completely irrelevant to the sports world, because without them this team would likely be just another NFL team, probably a good one but not what it's become.

Talk about biting the hand(s) that feeds you:rolleyes: We need to kick some serious ass this year, that's all there is to it:rocker::D
