So all the people complaining about Sherman not making the Pro Bowl apparently made their voices heard. He doesn't make the larger Pro Bowl roster, but does make the smaller All Pro team.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
As far as the three quarterbacks go, no matter who doesn't make it then there is going to be an upset fan base with a legitimate gripe. It's kind of a no-win situation, no matter who you leave out.

While we can say Pro Bowl and All Pro teams are silly and ridiculous - which at times is true when you look at some of the players that make those rosters and who gets left off - for some reason they then become incredibly important when it comes to Hall of Fame nominations and voting for many people making those decisions.
4. Gronk missed more than a third of the season and STILL wound up with more TDs than any TE in the league. Is STILL a better blocker than Witten and Gonsalez, and is STILL not on the team. Oops what hope I had in the process has just been taken away.
3. I'm thrilled London Fletcher was selected. Its the kind of selection that gives me hope. Ray Lewis gets all the accolades but its London Fletcher who keeps piling up the stats. They are both 37, but Fletcher is by far the better LB at this point.....and he might have always been the better LB, just without the great PR guy.
PWP: My precise reaction as well. Fletcher @ 37 is still awesome.

Yeah but if you think about it, the great Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick!!! A 6th round draft pick!!! How is he supposed to be this good?
When will the values of this so called Pro-Bowl and All-Pro selections lose their worth? At what point do their significance in judging a player lose merit?
But then again I look at the fuss the Oscars get every year despite the constant mocking it rightly gets.
Not worth getting fussed over, over hyped and of no value. Let's win #4, and let the losers worry about how many 'All-Pro' players they have in their roster.
Its not ridiculous at all. Just compare the stats. Compare the fact that since 2002 Fletcher has been forced to play on horrible Bills and Skins teams, playing in multiple defenses under many DC's while Lewis played just for the Ravens on what has been a perennial top 10 Defense, playing in basically the same defense his entire career. Finally I doubt Fletcher played that many years in defenses specifically designed to protect him from direct contact. IIRC the few times they tried to play him as a straight 3-4 ILB, they found he couldn't take on OG's directly.Fletcher has been criminally underrated his entire career, but let's not be ridiculous.
