There is no reason to panic

I have just one question, does brady ever throw to our TEs anymore? Are Watson, Baker that bad? I think those guys can be a threat, particularly in the red zone.

Moss-Edelman-Aikan-Baker/Watson can be dangerous. I mean they are not that much better than the WR/TE corps. that we won 3 super bowls with. THen again, we don't have the defense we used to.

Brady threw to Watson yesterday and placed it right between the numbers only for him to drop it.

That wasn't a drop, the db had his arm in there if we're talking about the same play.

Brady's 2nd to last pass was a screen to Sammy Morris that lost 5 yards.

This is true but still doesn't disspell the the notion that the Pats treated the 2nd half as a scrimmage.

And how is that different than other years (2006) when we were a blown PI call on Reche Caldwell from getting to the Super Bowl?

This team, without Rodney Harrison, and Moss, and Welker, and a top notch Bruschi, beat San Diego and well should have beaten Indy that year. I cant say that that team had more talent than this one. In fact, I'm not sure if I'd prefer Samuel, Hobbs, etc., back then to Bodden, Springs, Butler, Sanders and Meriweather now. I don't think an older Bruschi and Vrabel were better than what we have now. We're missing Seymour from the DE, that's true. Our OL is the same, replace Caldwell with Moss and Gaffney with Edelman. We have a better RB situation.

Don't ask me to give a rational reason why this team is different because I'm not equipped. Maybe it's as simple as Brady's play of late? Maybe it's because I had to create a pin hole out of a paper plate to watch this defense everytime they need a stop or there is a 3rd and long.

People keep saying that but the replay showed a defender swatting it away. Wilcots made that remark a number of times about different plays. Receiver should have had that, he kept saying. And on those plays, the replays showed defenders knocking the ball away.

Also don't forget that both the Colts and the Chargers were better teams back then.

Presuming that Brady is OK, we are as healthy as we have been at any time other than before the game started this afternoon.

Edeleman has not had much of a role for the last few weeks. He now is the slot receiver. He did well today as he did the last time he was in this role.

Our OL is in fine shape, as are all five running backs and both of our tight ends.

Brady will have more to work with as far as offensive options than at almost any other time in the year.

And yes, we have the option of using our tight ends more, now that our OL is more healthy. A 2 TE, 2 WR set worked as a base offense last time we played BALT. It is a fine base formation for this team.

never panic when TB is your QB
