Redskins resign Adam Carriker. Four years, $20 million with $7 guaranteed.

anyone think that now with all the top tier WRs gone so soon..it will hurt the pats with lloyd?

I'm pretty sure either would be second only to Welker on this team.

That says more about the Patriots WR corps than it does about Garcon and Morgan, though, don't you think?

Now that the Redskins have Garcon and Morgan, the Giants should probably just hand them the Lombardi and be done with it.

Skins beat the Giants twice last year, so they have something going right.

While this is true, it still doesn't mean that either of them are good.

The fossilized remains of Deion Branch put up more yards last year than Morgan has in any year so far in his career.

I think everyone knows our wideouts blow, but I'm not sure why we'd bemoan not signing a crappy receiver to buttress a crappy receiving corps.

Patriots expected to resign Matthew Slater today and are "working on a few other deals," per Michael Lombardi.

Wait, we're talking about this guy, right?

Josh Morgan, WR for the San Francisco 49ers at NFL.com

If so, please pass me what you're smoking.

Only if you're willing to pay ;)

Seems like the early trend is for players to be moving out of the NFC, or staying there.

Mario Williams to Buffalo doesn't scare me. He's a good player, but he's going to get overpaid, and it doesn't appear that the Texans tried very hard to keep him.

I'm wondering how the Brandon Marshall trade will affect the Dolphins' cap, since they gave him that huge contract two years ago. Maybe the bonus wasn't that high.

Garcon got 5 for 42, with more than 20 guaranteed, per 98.5

Garcon got like 42 million from the Redskins ...

He should be arrested for robbery on that one.

Jets are interested in Meriweather, per Cimini

Re: Garcon to skins...Vjax to...

Tampa per NFL Network. Was hoping pats would pursue Vjax

.

No Surprise. VJAX is overrated, and will by overpaid by some fool team

What is a surprise though, Saints signed Colston.

The Redskins never, ever learn.

They needed to get weapons for their annointed one, and Snyder's not one to sweat the numbers all that much.

I just hope that this deal doesn't drive up the Lloyd numbers.

He should send a HUGE thank you card to Peyton.

Heard he was due about $9.3m on salary and saved $7.1m of that when $2.2m of bonus accelerated forward.

Re: Garcon to skins...Vjax to...

I'm thinking the Pats have had enough of older receivers who were good when they were younger, but now that they've lost a little bit, they have trouble fitting in with the Pats. I bet they go receiver in the draft (where they've also had trouble developing reliable guys, but at least it doesn't cost them as much). Sort of surprising that these receivers sign with such horrid QBs though.
