I'll take a crack at this:
Sun 9/7/2008 1:00 PM vs Chiefs -- WIN -- A sloppy win, though (Remember, the Pats haven't truly dominated an opener since the 2002 Gillette christening win over Pittsburgh... last year was 14-7 at the half before Ellis Hobbs swung that one for good). Wouldn't be surprised to see something in the 20-17 range...
Sun 9/14/2008 4:15 PM @ Jets -- WIN -- Meadowlands will be raucous until about 4:45PM, when it's 7-0 NE, and the offense is driving....
Sun 9/21/2008 1:00 PM vs Dolphins -- WIN -- A blah game that shouldn't provide much of a problem.
Sun 9/28/2008 vs Bye
Sun 10/5/2008 4:15 PM @ 49ers -- LOSS -- The stunner... traveling to the west coast after a bye, the Pats come out flat as all get out, play an uninspired game, and lose a sloppy, ugly game to a bad team... something like 16-13 sounds possible...
Sun 10/12/2008 8:15 PM @ Chargers -- WIN -- The Niners debacle, as well as San Diego's yaps, gets the Pats in the right mindset for this one. Call it a gut feeling, but I don't even see this one being all that close.
Mon 10/20/2008 8:30 PM vs Broncos -- LOSS -- A little laggy coming from the West Coast, Mike Shanahan does what he does best -- beat the Patriots. This could well be Jay Cutler's coming out party. His release is slow as hell, but if he can overcome that, he will be an excellent quarterback in this league for years to come...
Sun 10/26/2008 1:00 PM vs Rams -- WIN -- Meh. Reminiscent of the Saints game from 2005 -- a pedestrian win over a mediocre/bad NFC team with crappy FOX announcers
Sun 11/2/2008 8:15 PM @ Colts -- WIN -- The Pats go into POS (that stadium, at BEST, is Reliant Stadium Jr., and at worst, Chase Field Jr.), playing for the inside track to the one seed, and knock around the still hobbled Colts. Look for Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, etc. to have monster games.
Sun 11/9/2008 1:00 PM vs Bills -- WIN -- Since 31-0, the Patriots do not lose to the Bills. This one might be a little closer than we'd like after a big win, but it still shouldn't provide much of a problem.
Thu 11/13/2008 8:15 PM vs Jets -- WIN -- BB gameplanning for Favre on a short week >>>>> Mangini gameplanning for Brady on a short week
Sun 11/23/2008 1:00 PM @ Dolphins -- WIN -- Chad should be holding a clipboard with some type of shoulder injury by then.
Sun 11/30/2008 4:15 PM vs Steelers -- WIN -- This team does not lose to the Steelers at home.
Sun 12/7/2008 8:15 PM @ Seahawks -- LOSS -- Just a tough, tough place to win.
Sun 12/14/2008 4:15 PM @ Raiders -- WIN -- Lessons learned from the 49ers debacle
Sun 12/21/2008 1:00 PM vs Cardinals -- WIN -- Hello, Matt Vasgergian...
Sun 12/28/2008 1:00 PM @ Buffalo -- WIN -- If and only if the one seed is still up in the air, and at 3 losses, it should be. The Colts have a fairly difficult schedule, so 12-4 MIGHT be enough, but assuming it's not, the Patriots handle Buffalo in a hugely important finale.
Final Record: 13-3 (Although not quite the way others predicted it to happen
