A survey of the following questions for you to answer:

BEST PERFORMANCE BY A PATRIOTS PLAYER EVER IN A SINGLE GAME

WORST PERFORMANCE BY A PATRIOTS PLAYER EVER IN A SINGLE GAME

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMO BEST PERFORMANCE BY A PATRIOTS PLAYER EVER would have to be QB Drew Bledsoe in 1994 while down by 24 points to the Minnesota Vikings in the 3rd quarter almost single handidly brought the Patriots back to an overtime win over the Vikings (I believe it went overtime,If I am wrong correct me)

IMO WORST PERFORMANCE BY A PATRIOTS PLAYER EVER would have to be QB Tony Eason in Super Bowl 20 - Albeit he played only a few minutes but Played so bad in 6 attempts (0-6 no yards passing) he did not complete a pass that he was yanked quickly and Steve Grogan had no choice but to come in and get bullwhipped by the Bears pass rush, can't think of a worse performance by any Patriots player ever, especially bad in the biggest game of all.

Your selections?

Best ever was Brady in SB 38

For worst performance, how about Drew Bledsoe in Miami in 1999.

15-34 1 td 5 INTS

How about for worst performances, that one game every year that Brady throws 4 interceptions - have we ever won any of those games?

For best performances, that one game every year that Brady throws for over 300 yards, 2TD's and 0 INT's.

How's that for 'being on the fence'

It's always 4 too. It's rarely just 3. Usually when #3 happens I'll say "well #4 is coming up soon".

Some non-QB good games:

Troy Brown in the AFC Championship vs. Pitt

Ty Law and Rodney Harrison tag-teaming Marvin Harrison to 4 TOs vs. 3 receptions

The Best David Patten in 2001 against the Colts. He had a throw, catch and run for a touchdown in the same game.

Worst name any by Joe Kapp, Tommy Hodson, Marc Wilson and Hugh Millen.

How about Odell Lawson?

Between the lines, probably no running back had better lateral movement.

Just didn't know about forward movement...

I don't think that's the same Sam Cunningham as the former Patriot and big brother of Randall.

Best performance: Vrabel SB 39 TD catch and a Sack

Worst performance: 1990 NEP 1-15

yes, in fact I believe Patten had two receiving TDs to go with his TD run and TD throw. The only thing he was missing that day was a TD pass to himself :)

The Pats have only won one game when Brady throws 3+ interceptions, and that was this past season's playoff game against the San Diego Chargers.

Actually, they were only down by 20, and this was still in the 2nd quarter. The halftime score was 20-3.

Agreed!

Patten gets my vote.
