Time to jog the memories of board members who may have forgotten just how whacked out, delusional and utterly incapable of rational thought whatsoever the typical Jet fan is...here, as evidence ,is the post game "breakdown" from the Pats beating of the Jets IN NJ last season, when the Pats were basically crippled going up against the totally healthy Jets....THIS is the only way Jet fan thinks, this is why you cannot carry on a rational discussion with any of them....

Jets off all night in all 3 phases, timely penalties, too much thinking.

Rex had the Jets thinking too much, sometimes you just need to go out
and play, no way Pats should win this game, no way the Jets should lose it

Jets beat themselves by overthinking, and then you have Brady doing what
he does best, dissect a defense that is confused and is not ready

Wrong defensive game plan, press and go after the QB, BB won the chess
game tonight.

Jets will be there at the end, they let the Pats get in thier heads tonight.

as you can see, there is this HUGE implication that the Jets are far more intelligent than the Patriots..."Jets guilty of "overthinking"...THAT'S the reason why they lost...don't think, just go get them...Rex is so smart he thought too much...only mistake the Jets made...the Patriots obviously suck"....It is impossible to reason with this type of person, and, this type of person makes up 99% of the Jet fan base....which brings us to the heart of the matter...THIS mindset...THIS is why the Jets suck. At some point you'd think a savvy businessman would buy this sad sack franchise and move it to another part of the country with a totally different demographic...then and only then will the Jet franchise have a chance to realize true success

That's one of the best defenses against "overblowntopicgate:" The Jets were doing the same thing and it didn't help.

A Jets camera crew was removed during the Mangini era and Walsh testified that he saw Jets personnel doing the same thing he was doing. If it was such a huge advantage, where are the NYJ winning streaks, deep playoff runs, and championships?

This is the time of year when most NFL players finish their minicamps and head out on vacation. Jets defensive lineman Kenrick Ellis, however, is heading to a Virginia jail to begin a 45-day sentence for his role in a 2010 fight while he was a college student.

Green Beans players can't even get into jail right. I mean, if you're going to get pinched for being rowdy you might as well do something memorable -- like smack a cop.

In fairness to Rah!Rah!, he's got a point. The Pats were incredibly lucky to have the Jets in their division last year and get to play them twice. Even luckier this year when they are a six or seven win team.

I strongly agree. We did land consecutive trips to the AFC Championship game during Ryan's first two years, and it wasn't because Sanchez or our "explosive" offense; it was all because of our defense. I truly believe that we're on the verge of fielding our best defense to date under Rex this coming season, and if our offense can improve upon previous seasons? We're a tough out.

You know as a Boston-Area sports fan, you'd think we would remember the days when the Patriots were a tier below NFL and above college level sports. You'd think we'd remember the Red Sox 90 year World Series drought and take pity on those franchises that have not been able to claim the championship.

But, it's New York and I can't take pity on them as they never seem to realize the situation they are in. You'll get the occassional fan (their side) who tries to be the voice of reason, but that sound is quickly drowned out by the masses. They seem to deserve each other .

The funny part is that they may have one of the worst DLs in the NFL, are changing their scheme based on a rookie, with a reputation for being lazy, and they gave all that money to a NT only to make him part of a 4 man rotation at a postion he isn't cut out for.
