    I'm guessing they were worried more about Drew's shoulder than Daunte's knee. Why else would you trade a 2nd round pick?

    Would appear he thought a quarterback who might not be as quick or mobile as he used to, is better then a quarterback who might have a noodle arm. At least Culpepper will still have a cannon arm no matter what! :rolleyes:

    That's assuming Culpepper can stand up. He tore 3 of his knee ligaments I believe, which is a major injury. That's why the trade is not official yet. It's pending a medical exam

    Actually Brees wanted a ton of $$$ and Miami wouldn't pay it. He tried to use the Saints' offer as leverage in getting more money from Miami but the Fins called his bluff and got Culpepper. This is great for the Pats, Brees could of put Miami on top in the East.
