Probably all of those 838yds are from the air...Shane Vereen had 838 total yards and 5 touchdowns in 16 games last season. Lewis has 418 total yards and 3 touchdowns in 4 games this season.
No but last year he did get about 9 yards all year after contact. Lewis got that Week 1Probably all of those 838yds are from the air...
I don't.It's amazing to see how even with Gronk being limited, the Pats were able to score 30 on a good defense. I pity the Colts next week, no really I do.
With 3 seconds left....what's the downside in running the kickoff out of the end zone and going for a 100 yarder? I view it as a free option...like a QB throwing downfield after drawing the defense off sides.I was a bit curious about the end of the half kickoff with three seconds left. Why wouldn't you want to squib one and burn the clock on the kickoff?
Instead they gave Dallas one play to take a Hail Mary if they wanted. Of course with weeden they just ran a kneel down, but they could have taken a shot.
This would have been a great game with Romo and Dez. Romo can actually throw and improvise, Dez would have forced double coverage, and that would have opened up the run game. But alas.
We're getting Dez back next game, at NYG. Tony back week 11. We need to win our next game.
When did they try to sign Spiller? Here's a thought. We tried to sign CJ Spiller, Reggie Bush and Percy Harvin in the off-season. If we'd been successful with one of them, I wonder how much we'd have seen of Lewis.
When did they try to sign Spiller?
According to Bill Simmons, the Patriots and C.J. Spiller were close to agreeing on a deal, until the Saints blew the Patriots out of the water with the four-year, $16 million deal that Spiller signed. Simmons and Grantland’s NFL writer Bill Barnwell discussed:

Martin with the ridic catch........ Can we talk about BB's personnel decisions since Pioli left ? I dunno how much say Caserio has, but the FA/trades/drafts have been better in the last few years.
psssttt.......Mike Lombardi.
For all you X and O guys, what was the halftime adjustment that prevented any 2nd half sacks after giving up five in the first half?
