Just make sure there's no video. If it's on video, he would get indefinitely suspended. But if no video, no problem, 2 games.
good point.

Just heard Smith say the NFL* is looking forward to going to court and is very confident....that they will uphold the 4 games to send a message to the league that they are serious about teams following rules and that their goal was to keep the suspension at 4 games(that is a victory according to Smith no matter what happens in court). According to Smith its all about refusing to turn over phone records and the decision will come down in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Are you kidding me??? If this were true, the MFL wold have had TB hanging from the rafters, long ago. BSPN just trying to drag Brady thru the mud once again. Stephen A, please. Yeah, another man of "integrity". If this isn't true, add to the defamation pile
Does anyone think that Brady's lawyer would actually allow him to destroy his cell phone?
If you were Kraft, knowing the hate against PATs, would you take a chance by leaving
your Hall of Fame Coach's fate up to some court or appeal process?
If there is even a vague reference to banning BB why let legal beagles twist it to justify the
banning action?

I have no idea why Kraft would even remotely agree to a lifetime ban for Belichick. The tapping was legal but the camera was in the wrong place. That offense doesn't warrant a life time ban from the *NFL.

Sounds like Stephen A Smith is going all in with his silliness today:

At least SAS got this right. The league has been steadfast in their resolve to find and severely penalize an infraction and then justify upholding the penalty by any means necessary. Notice how the wording strongly indicates that the goal was never to actually determine if anything actually happened, just to make an example.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the cell phone provider keep records of texts and emails in case you accidentally lose or destroy your phone?
I hope this story is a sign that the matter is heading to court because I really want to get to the bottom of all this.
