To me, a lot will happen in the next 5 weeks, before the first day of free agency. There are many key decisions to be made. Hopefully, we will know the plans for many players by then: e.g. Welker, Branch, Green-Ellis, Connolly, Carter, Anderson, Ellis.
When does the 2012-2013 season start? I presume that we can start signing player after that date.
When do the Practice Squad players become part of the new roster?
When do we need to designate RFA levels.
I know that franchise tags need to be placed by March 5th.
I presume that we have until March 13th (the beginning of free agency) to sign our own free agents.
