Signing NBA players?

Rondo as RB alla Woodhead

Here's the scary thing about what freakish athletes NBA players are - Rondo might be one of the smallest players on any NBA court he steps on, but he'd be tied for our tallest receiver if he were on the Patriots, at 6'1. Plus, Rondo claims he can run a sub 4 second 40.

As much as I love the NFL and football - and its a much better run sport than the NBA right now, I have to concede that the NBA and basketball in general gets the better athletes. These guys are freaks. Just look at Lebron James. Imagine a 6'9, 250 lbs beast with a 4.4 40 who would be as athletic as most receivers in the NFL.

I would take Blake Griffin all day long for red zone offense.
Guy is ripped as well as any NFL player for sure.

Ray Allen as the kicker.
Kevin Garrett TE/ WR fade throws.

Can any of these guys take a hit? I mean, they've spent their entire lives trying not to make contact
