Just saw a list of the coach of the year voting but didn't see
Romeo get any votes?
How can this be?
He makes turns a losing team into a winner and gets No recognition??
Sad...:(

I thought the same thing. I thought it was going to be McCarthy and Romeo and maybe a couple for BB.

That they fell apart and lost to Cincy, and killed their near lock at a playoff shot, pretty much knocked Romeo out of the running late. Some guys changed their minds late, I think after Peter King said what he said on Saturday night and we went 16-0 afterall. Tom Curren said just a week ago he would have voted RAC if not for the loss to Cincy and was leaning towards McCarthy thereafter. He ended up voting for BB. Several voters cast throw away votes for whatever reason that might have been RAC's had he still had a shot. I guess those folks really didn't like Bill and weren't all that impressed with Mike. DelRio got 2 for his team making the playoffs while being shut out in the Pro Bowl balloting, Phillips got a couple for getting more out of the talent in Dallas than Tuna did, and Dungy got 1 vote so maybe God is an AP reporter...

He certainly deserved more credit than Dungy.

without the bengals game and with the resulting trip to the playoffs, i think he would have received a lot of votes.

No one should have voted anyone but BB. It's COY, not great turn around of the year, etc. BB led his team to the first 16-0 season in NFL history. There shouldn't be a discussion. Yes Romeo and Mcarthy and other guys did a great job this season, but they didn't lead a team to 16-0. If a team went from 6-10 to 15-1, then they might have a serious chance at COY, but that didn't happen.

Hmm BB leads the Pats to the first 16-0 regular season ever.

Romeo Crennel's team didn't even make the playoffs.

Who is more deserving for Coach of the Year? Hmmm let me ponder that for about 30 seconds... Yeah, BB it is! :p
