What are the chances we sign Pitta or Pettigrew in the off-season?
I'd rather draft Amaro and Lyerla

The only one playing the part of dancing fool is you. It's fun to respond to you because you're like a monkey who will perform every time—dance, monkey!
You’re also not very bright (which is obvious by your writing). I didn’t say a “worse blow” I said it was more depressing to me. Get it? I was sharing my thoughts on a fan board about how bummed out Gronk’s injury made me. ME. And then multiple times I said I had no desire to debate the point, I just found/find it really depressing. And this caused you to stammer and sputter with stuff like “put up or shut up.” You’re pathetic. Now keep dancing, monkey.

Just about everything you've said about Gronkowski has already been discredited. Maybe one day you'll grow up and realize how you look so much less foolish by just admitting you were mistaken than you do by moving the goalposts and throwing personal attacks at the person who corrected you.Go back and read the post you chose to ignore since I given you proof that you jubilant exuberation of being "right" is unfounded. I said I would admit I wrong if he misses more than one or two games. He could be held out for the first game or two as precaution.
Thank you for that article. I admit, I did not realize how serious the Wilfork injury was. I was out of country at the time and while I saw the game, I was simply not following sports as much as I normally do and didn't get the analysis I normally would.LOL! I love proving you wrong. It is too easy.
Be careful, my friend. I said a similar thing (actually I was a bit more optimistic) and I am still getting regular doses of hatred and venom from some other posters for those comments.Considering how cautious Gronk was with his arm, I can see him missing the first half of next season.

For me, the worst thing about this injury is knowing that Gronk is going to take these shots again and again throughout his career. DB's, on top of not being able to hit high anymore, won't do it with a TE the size of Gronk because he's simply too big and will drag them if they try it. Hope the surgery goes successfully and he recovers well. Unfortunately, the guy has now missed time in the last three seasons, one exclusively in the playoffs. Without trying to sound overly negative, I hope the team has a better contingency plan going forward because, based on the evidence we currently have at hand, I don't think we can count on him for full seasons.
Pettigrew is trouble and Pitta is more than likely going to command a better sum of money than the Patriots are going to be willing to dish out. The draft has some excellent TE prospects available that I expect the team to look at.
I might take a shot at Dustin Keller. He is more of a Hernandez replacement, but he should come cheap coming off of injury.
Dustin Keller's career might be over. Have yourself a look at YouTube footage of the TE's coming out in the draft this year and you'll find yourself saying "Dustin... who!?".

I am really surprised at how no one thinks this is a low hit.
I'm sorry but it was a douchbag hit. I get you don't go high. The guy is 6'7"....seriously. Go look at that hit again and tell me it was not going for the knees.
Buddy needs a hefty fine as he altered a lot of $$$$ by planting that helmet on his knee.
It was a total bu11**** play.
That kid got off scott free, patted him on the shoulder.....he should have got punched in the face repeatedly.
Horse**** play....

I know it may be to soon, but is it fair to call gronk the patriots version of bill walton?
Walton and gronk are/were two unstoppable forces that just couldn't stay healthy.
Walton had chronic foot problems. small foot bones don't heal well.
Gronk does not have knees that attract safeties, arms that are more prone than any to break when a 270 pound outstretched player lands on them.
It's a ridiculous comparison. If he got hit by a bus, it wouldn't make him hit by a bus prone either.

I'll see you in August/September, when everyone will know I was right and you were wrong.LOL! What exactly has been proven wrong. I said in terms of treatment, an ACL tear is an ACL tear. There is no difference between a partial tear or a complete tear. Both are complete reconstruction. How is that wrong? I said that players with the same injury who have had it later in the season than Gronk have come back for the entire season the following year. Where am I wrong there?
