Ridley is the most talented runner on our roster since Corey Dillon, if he doesn't come back I wish him well, as he also seems like a great human being.
He has vision, balance, and speed to the hole, he rarely makes the wrong decision. His only issue ever has been fumbles and BB's lac of belief in a Bellcow since Dillon.
1.) I'd love him back
2.) If we can't get him back I hope he goes to Dallas or somewhere far away from the division who will use him like a true #1 back and not in a RBBC.
3.) We definitely used him wrong, he's a bellcow back. He proved it to us back in 2012. In 2011 and 2013 we benched him for fumbles and in 2014 he played behind the worst OL in recent history for us.
He's a kid who says everything right, plays hard, and has top 5 RB talent potential. I definitely hope he gets a chance somewhere, if we didn't have Blount he'd be the undisputed #1 like in 2012 and put up 1200 again, but because we have Blount he'll never be a true #1 here.
GL, Rid.
