In the defense of the person who made this thread let me say this.
(Also, Ridley fumbled 4 times last year on 178 carries I believe. I am aware some sites say 3 but others say 4 and I am confident that number is correct going by memory). So 1 fumble every 44.5 attempts.
That is simply too much and you can not have it.
The question is this. If Ridley is going to continue to fumble the ball at this rate do you want him out there over other RBs we could get that you believe will fumble less.
Is the benefit of his ability worth the extra amount of fumbles he will give you (and his fumble/carry is among the highest in the NFL). I don't think it is. So if we are to assume the fumbling will not be fixed you may as well trade him and get anything you can back for him. If you assume it can be fixed obviously you keep him.
Right now it is too early to say if it can or can not be fixed but that semi-fumble last game (which might or might not be one) did not give me confidence and we are right to question him in this way going by his previous body of work.
