On the other hand, I would've rather have seen him make this decision after the Ravens were eliminated from the tournament, as my concern would be that it will certainly add some more motivation to their playoff run.
As for Lewis himself.... - all I have to say is GOOD RIDDANCE!!
Personally, I think that's a good thing. Let them play 'inspired football for Lewis', and take it all out on the Broncos. Hopefully they'll eliminate those donkeys as I'm getting nauseous already, hearing of Manning as the second coming of ************.
I'll take Ravens at home over Broncos on the road any day.

Great point.
I just hope it doesn't end up biting us in the ass if they lose. Then we'd have to play 2 tougher games in Houston and Denver anyway.
You beat me to it. Good riddance, indeed. It's nauseating hearing him revered as "the best leader in the NFL" and treated like a God in Baltimore.
Now if only Peyton had the good sense to do likewise ...
I'm not following here.... the only road game we'd play would be in Denver, should the Ravens lose to them in the divisional round.
All other teams, would need to come to Foxboro.
While I certainly don't care for Lewis as a person, I do respect him as a football player.
My hatred for Lewis isn't even close to what it is for some of the other players such as Cromartie, Suggs, (maybe even Sherman) and about 1/2 the Pittsburgh Steelers entire team.
I give Lewis credit for pushing himself extremely hard and for his toughness and intensity, though as a leader he's always seemed like a bit of a hypocrite to me. Personally I love Sherman, who from what I understand is a very good and generous person off the field, just a kid from a tough neighborhood with a chip on his shoulder and a huge competitive streak. I'd love to have him on my team, any day. Cromartie and Suggs I'd agree with.
