Considering he has lost 9 of his last 10 vs NE I want to hire his PR/spindoctor firm.
That's sort of my point.

May favorite Ray Lewisism from last night:
"I'm not takin' nothin' away from Tom, but it's nothin' we haven't seen, we've seen this before from many quarterbacks. We haven't seen what Cam Newton is doin' from the quarterback position."
Of course this idiot is saying this while he's looking directly at Steve Young.

I just couldn't watch Ray Lewis last night for these reasons.
Cam Newton couldn't hold Youngs jock.
You couldn't watch Ray Lewis last night implies you can watch him other nights. You must have a greater stamina for idiocy as I find I can't watch him any nights.
What's your secret for tolerating idiocy for long periods of time? Do you take pills, booze, meditation???
I gotta admit, watching Ray Lewis is like waiting for a car wreck to happen in slow motion...
I knew he was gonna do some Pats bashing so I had other things that were of a higher priority....like clean up dog poop in the backyard...
No pills except Claritin. Scotch, beer and wine now and then helps me get though my day.

That Randall Cunningham fella was fairly handy too.Yeah, I was waiting for Young to at least make a gesture or something. I just don't get why year after year it's like this dual-threat QB is a new thing. Tobin Rate and Fran Tarkenton were successful dual-threat QBs 40+ years ago. Young and Cunningham were on a different planet compared to Newton. And both McNair and Vick had a few great seasons where both the run game and passing game 'clicked'. Not to mention a slew of great scrambling QBs like Elway.
Newton is just another of MANY to be have a 10-game stretch. He'll eventually regress back to the norm and they'll forget about him, until the next flashy dual-threat QB comes up and were back to "He's going to be the one, no one has seen this before!" Yawn...
