The team looks like BB wants to take the pressure off of TB by becoming more balanced. I like the O line picks the RB Veren, and Mallet. But a lot of others including myself were looking for the defensive front Seven to be upgraded. If it didn't happen this year draft wise i doubt it ever will be. I really liked the 09 and '10 drafts this to me was a classic BB WTF. I'm giving it a solid C
C+ to C, right now. Not a great draft and not a sucky draft.
It's not what I wanted or expected.
Most fans still seem to be of the mindset that the draft provides one of the final pieces of the puzzle... after free agency, after pre-draft or draft day trades for players...
This year it's the first piece of the puzzle - something many seem to be forgetting - with 2/3rds of the off-season moves yet to come.
I see major contributors - perhaps even starters - among many of these draft choices. That's going to free up Belichick to work trades or sign free agents to address other positions of need. What's not to like about that?
So what if BB didn't address every need in just 1/3rd of his off-season opportunities? That doesn't mean that we're looking at the final roster.
Project left tackle better suited for tight end, check...
Cornerback who can't stay off the training table, check...
Running back who's better at tap dancing than running the football, check...
Running back who can't spell "Steven" or "Stephen", check...
Quarterback with "personal/character issues", check...
Another f#cking tight end (better suited at closing baseball games than catching passes), check...
Well, I'd say it's a GREAT DRAFT! WAY TO GO BILL! WAY TO GO KRAFTY! You'll be saving some $ because more than half these guys aren't making the team...

B+ to a low A.......
Lot of value in this draft...... It's pretty clear what the intention was. Lot of upside in there. I really think the disconnect that this draft has with fans is that most of us "think" we know what the team needed, but it is pretty clear that BB & Co didn't feel the same way.
They went big on the power game..... I like it.
