Day 3 I might as well just make the options "WTF?" and "WTFF?" :)

So, thoughts on the draft as a whole?

solid B+...

no all pro OLB half the fans were screaming their eyes out for drops the grade from and A to a C...no All Pro D lineman drops it to a D...infusion of talent on the O line brings it up to a C...addressing the subtraction of Morris and Taylor and the age of Faulk with two productive RB's brings it up to a B....snagging the most physically talented QB other than Cam Newton, plus the rest of the draft...B+

Maybe B, B-. Have to see these guys play I guess. If they could snag one decent pass rusher in a trade/fa I'd say a pretty good draft. Bodden,McCourty,Dooling,&Arrington is very nice dept at CB. Maybe Butler gets traded.

Solid B+

Brady has a Steel condom we got some RB's 2 CB's

and an awesome younger version of crumpler. Not to mention a HUGE G/T

one cannot merely rebuild a team in 2 years. I considered last year the start of that project

good things are on the horizon. :)

Edit I had last yr as an A-

that was well before kipper and the media circus changed their grades.

Tentative B+ for now.

Almost voted WTF, you know, Win the Future! Replenishing of the OL, intriguing QB, and a new backfield...

The team looks like BB wants to take the pressure off of TB by becoming more balanced, i like that I like the O line picks the RB Veren, and Mallet. But a lot of others including myself were looking for the defensive front Seven to be upgraded. If it didn't happen this year draft wise i doubt it ever will be. I really liked the 09 and '10 drafts this to me was a classic BB WTF draft. I'm giving it a solid C..... Hopefully the team can address the D-Line in FA

C+ to C, right now. Not a great draft and not a sucky draft.

It's not what I wanted or expected.

Most fans still seem to be of the mindset that the draft provides one of the final pieces of the puzzle... after free agency, after pre-draft or draft day trades for players...

This year it's the first piece of the puzzle - something many seem to be forgetting - with 2/3rds of the off-season moves yet to come.

I see major contributors - perhaps even starters - among many of these draft choices. That's going to free up Belichick to work trades or sign free agents to address other positions of need. What's not to like about that?

So what if BB didn't address every need in just 1/3rd of his off-season opportunities? That doesn't mean that we're looking at the final roster.

B. I have a feeling we won't get any all-pros like McCourty from last year, but 1 to 3 solid starters. Only time will tell, though. I just hope nobody from '10 pulls a Butler and gets worse after a good rookie year.

The off season does not start and end with just the draft. The front 7 can be upgraded via free agency and through trades. Its also ridiculous to say the front 7 will never be upgraded through the draft just cause it wasnt this year lol.

we fix that next year w/ a deeper draft:)

next year is when Operation Retool is complete

I love this board. I apologize for my many posts Draft day excites me. This wont happen for many months to a year.

not a poster child for the "I want my name in spotlights".

so...you're giving it an incomplete, Perfessor?? I can't go through another makeup draft!!...:enranged:

Project left tackle better suited for tight end, check...
Cornerback who can't stay off the training table, check...
Running back who's better at tap dancing than running the football, check...
Running back who can't spell "Steven" or "Stephen", check...
Quarterback with "personal/character issues", check...
Another f#cking tight end (better suited at closing baseball games than catching passes), check...

Well, I'd say it's a GREAT DRAFT! WAY TO GO BILL! WAY TO GO KRAFTY! You'll be saving some $ because more than half these guys aren't making the team...

B+ to a low A.......

Lot of value in this draft...... It's pretty clear what the intention was. Lot of upside in there. I really think the disconnect that this draft has with fans is that most of us "think" we know what the team needed, but it is pretty clear that BB & Co didn't feel the same way.

They went big on the power game..... I like it.

dude... don't be pessimistic. your eval appears to be constructed myopically:bricks:

I think it was pretty solid. The lack of a DL/OLB early on probably discolours the draft in the eyes of many.

It's clear BB wanted to upgrade the offense and doesn't see the D as a big problem. And in all fairness, apart from 3rd down D, this unit was pretty solid in every other category. Yards were an area we struggled with early on, got better at, but the 3rd down numbers didn't help that. But I think we're getting carried away by that 3rd down figure.

Whinebag thats better suited to be a JETS or Raiders Fan...CHECK! You dont have to be a Pats fan and with rants like this one, please dont! lol

They might end up with the most monsterous line in the nfl.

Time will tell. Games are won in the trenches.

I think Cannon may have been a steal and Solder is the best in the draft at his position with tremendous upside. Both of these guys are not just big, they are also athletic. Coach them up.

Took the words right out of the mouth. Feeling good about this draft, liking the players AND the added '12 picks. Was tempted to give an "epic win" vote but feel it's just short.
