Some say it's Kevin Durant's year for MVP, but I think it could be Rondo. It's still early, only 6 games, but Rajon Rondo is putting up historically great numbers. 15.5 assists per game, 2.8 steals per game. He's tied or broken some assist records this year. Pretty much every other game he's been doing something historically meaningful. Rondo is already the game's best PG at defense, fast breaks, assists, and rebounds. People say he can't shoot but his current season and also career field goal percentage is 48%, which is excellent for a perimeter player.
