The fines (and tapes) speak for themselves, but in case they don't, wasn't it certain members of both the Chargers and Giants O-lines who called Big Vince dirty this offseason during the playoff run? The difference is, of course, that O'Hara and the G-men backed up their talk by neutralizing him and winning the game.
On the painkiller stuff, that all depends on the dosage size of course, which I don't think we've ever seen, but put another way, in dollar terms, the guy had a $400,000 a year habit ($4000 twice a week apparently). Even for an NFL player that seems a little extreme, no? I mean, he's still on his rookie deal so can't be making more than $2 million a year I'd guess. So we're expected to believe that he's spending about 35-40% of his take home pay on his drug habit? Drugs are indeed evil (and don't get me wrong, I'm glad the guy's getting help), so it's possible, but it's also possible that he was just a middleman here--if you want further investigation of something, that may be a good place to start. And unlike Lynch's crime (the only reason I brought this up), I'm pretty sure what Kaczur did was likely a felony, so may be better to check your own house before throwing stones.
